Andrew Newton is truly a photographer that likes a challenge. During the week he is an ophthalmic photographer, but on his days off his passion is photographing underwater. With his underwater photography Andrew continues to have an involvement in many projects. His work is widely published.

Andrew’s “work place” is Port Phillip Bay where he photographs in the cold murky waters of Victoria. Andrew will discuss underwater photography techniques used in the cold temperate waters of Victoria and his involvement in current environmental monitoring and marine research projects.

Andrew will also highlight some of the unique marine life found in Port Phillip
.
